Frederique Constant Classics Art Deco

The Art Deco movement influenced the fashion circles in the 1920s and 30s, when people started experimenting with different styles and freed themselves from the conventions of age old trends. It was a period characterised by uninhibited freedom. The collection pays tribute to that time period. The name of the collection has been derived from the title of an exhibition in Paris, called the ‘Exposition des Arts Décoratifs’, in 1925. Primarily a women’s collection, it makes use of oval and tonneau dials as opposed to the typical round dials.
